Description: This trip can be done as an ambitious snowshoe or as a shoulder-season hike. The trip starts at the secondary road turnoff located approximately 1 km west of the Crowsnest Lake parking area (the road is used by snowmobiles in the winter). Ascend the northeast ridge, which is treed but steep. Once at the summit of the ridge, follow the ridge south. The southern section of the ridge is mostly open except for the final few hundred feet of the descent. Return to the vehicles via the road.​
